Nathan Daniels Quartet is a well sought after Singer, Pianist, Bandleader and Musical Director!
Nathan Daniels Quartet started his professional musical journey in Switzerland after studying at EJMA Jazz school in Lausanne. He has performed at Jazz and Blues Festivals in Switzerland, Italy and France, as well as touring a show all over Switzerland and Germany entitled “The Latin Side of The Crooners”, which was a Latin/Swing reimagining of Sinatra and Rat Pack favourites, including repertoire in their original Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese.
Developing as a pianist and a singer, Daniels returned to London to take musical directorships and residencies at a number of venues in the 2010s, including Caffe Concerto, The Ivy, The Savoy and the RAC Club. Daniels is an entertainer who enjoys the freedom and spontaneity of performing both solo and with band, and his favourite repertoire above all is that of the American songbook and in particular the music, style and phrasing of
Frank Sinatra.
Daniels has been invited to perform at hundreds of private events up and down the country, as well as Charity Events in support of Cancer Research, Macmillan, The Holocaust Survivors Centre and Great Ormond Street Hospital. As a Pianist Singer Bandleader, Daniels performs regularly either solo or with band at a number of venues, bars and hotels in Central London, including Cellar Door, The Ivy, The Wellsley, Landmark, Pan Pacific, The Ritz and many more.
“The Sinatra Celebration” features bass, drums and saxophone, as well as Daniels on piano/vocals. It is a reimagining – in the form of a polished Jazz/Swing/Latin influenced Piano Quartet – of the great works that built and accelerated Sinatra’s career, including “Come Fly with Me”, “Fly me to the Moon”, “New York”, “The Way you look Tonight”, “My Way” and so many more. As a unique singer/musician/bandleader with acting and presentation skills, Daniels occasionally intersperses the performances with short and comic anecdotes about Sinatra’s life. As a lover of Italian language and music, Daniels also performs some of Dean Martin’s iconic songs, such as “Volare” and “That’s Amore”, giving the show a flavour of the European culture that influenced both the lives and music of Sinatra and Dean Martin.
