FEMALE VOCALIST LAURA M IS VERY TALENTED.

Female vocalist Laura M grew up inspired by music and listening to her dad’s records of Soul and Motown and classic singer songwriters. Born and raised in Hampshire on the south coast of England, inspired by artists such as Aretha Franklin, Luther Vandross and more recently Sara Bareilles, John Mayer, Marc Broussard and Beverley Knight.

Laura began learning keyboard and drums at a young age as well as starting singing lessons at 13 years old. At age 21 Laura moved to Guildford to pursue a career in music and study vocals at the Academy of Contemporary Music, where she joined the renowned ACM Gospel choir.

ACM Gospel choir have grown from strength to strength and have supported and worked with some incredible artists such as Alexandra Burke, Michael Ball, Russell Watson, Beverley knight, Maverick Sabre, Robbie Craig, Joss Stone, KT Tunstall, Live Lounge for Scouting for Girl’s, the Queen on a few occasions and many more and performed at some of the most prestigious venues in the UK and abroad such as the O2 Arena, Wembley Stadium, Royal Albert Hall, the Roundhouse, Shepherds Bush Empire and many more.

Laura moved to London after graduating with a BA Hons degree in vocals from ACM and now runs a professional and top London function band who are extremely busy and have gigged at over a 1000 weddings and events in some of the most beautiful venues all over the UK and have been fortunate to play in Dubai for the last TEO New Years Parties. Over the last few years has also worked on 5 cruise ships for Celebrity Silhouette in the Caribbean and Europe, Disney Wonder in Alaska and west coast of America and Voyagers of Discovery in India, Australia, Asia and China and Japan, and Thomson in Italy and the Med. Whilst also working as a session vocalist and harmony arranger for artists such as Pixie Lott, and Just recently finished a UK Tour as a backing vocalist for Peter Andre.
