Male vocalist Kurtis Ray grew up with live music, it’s in his blood! He’s been working in the entertainments industry since he was 14 years old and seeing him perform is all the proof you need of his background! His act is incredible.
His energy and talent is undeniable, he puts his all into his act, he’s exceptionally watchable. Not only is Kurtis a fantastic performer and vocalist, he’s a really nice guy too, he’s full of charm and his personality stands out a mile. He’s very popular at corporate events, weddings and private parties, in short, he’s an amazing entertainer.
Kurtis is related to, and learned alongside, the masters of 80’s and 90’s cabaret The Marks Brothers, he performed with them for many years until starting out on his own. Since then his solo act has gone from strength to strength, he wows his audiences paying tribute to the talents of Ray Charles and John Legend and also to the Sound Of Soul, Motown and R&B, performing tracks from Otis Redding, Stevie Wonder, Plan B and Bruno Mars.
Kurtis is no stranger to performing in front of larger live or TV audiences, in 2011 he made it as far as boot camp on the X Factor and got all the way through to the final with his John Legend act on Stars In Their Eyes. Based in the West Midlands Kurtis has travelled all over the world with his work, and is currently bowling over audiences on cruise ships and the Sensatori chain of hotels.
