THIS HIGH CLASS 3 AND 4 PIECE BAND HAS A REPERTOIRE OF OVER 300 SONGS!

THE I BAND are an experienced working 3 and 4 piece guitar based cover band that was formed in 2011 for the sole purpose of performing in high class hotels and on cruise ships on long contracts abroad.

Their present repertoire of 300 songs is specifically catered to cross all boundaries performing evergreen chart classics from the 50’s to many smash hits of today. They are adding new material daily and intend to double the catalogue size over the next year or so.

‘THE I BAND’ CONSISTS OF:

• Sarah (Lead vocals/backing vocals)
• Lee (Lead guitar/backing vocals)
• Paul (Lead vocals/backing vocals/rhythm guitar)
• Andrew (Bass guitar/backing vocals)

All drums and keyboards are recorded in house or bought in and used as backing tracks to compliment the performances of each band member.

Both together and individually the band members have a wide variety of experience working in the entertainment industry in the UK and abroad.

Since 2012, the band has completed five successful long contracts with Fred Olsen cruises, P&O cruises and P&O Ferries and are currently contracted with Fred Olsen cruise lines until March 2016. They are now looking for long-term hotel work abroad to compliment their cruise work each year.

Three long contracts have been successfully completed on The ‘Braemar’ cruise ship (Fred Olsen) traveling all around Europe, Africa, South America, The Canary Islands and the Caribbean islands. Audiences on this vessel are of a more mature age, so the band performed a lot of Middle Of The Road/Ballad music, as well as Dance 50’s/90’s music.

They have also completed a long contract with P&O on the ‘Oceana’ cruise ship in 2015 traveling around Europe. Audiences, again, are of a more mature age, so the band performed a lot of Middle Of The Road/Ballad material as well as included Dance 50’s/80’s music when required.

‘The I Band’ have also completed two successful long contracts on P&O North Sea ferries, The Pride of Rotterdam and The Pride of Hull traveling from Hull, U.K. to Rotterdam, Holland. Audiences for these ships were mainly young and very lively. The music provided for these contracts was upbeat dance music, classic rock guitar greats and up to date chart music.
