Female Bhangra Bollywood Performers are a team specialising in female Bhangra entertainment, to include dancing, sangeet singers and DJs. They were established in 1999 and founded by Parv, the UK’s First Female Dhol Player. This incredible group teach Dhol Drumming and Bhangra dance classes on a weekly basis in Birmingham and their aim is to promote and perform Bhangra music to wider audiences.
With a stunning performance pedigree, they have performed at The Glastonbury Festival, on the Graham Norton Show at the LG Arena and at the House of Commons. They have also performed for the BBC and Channel Four and appeared in two Bollywood movies. Their hard work has been recognised by the House of Commons and they have received a ‘Contribution to Bhangra Music in the UK’ award. This amazing group were also recognised by the BBC when their incredible talent was showcased in a documentary, that went viral across the world!!
This stunningly unique act combines the traditions of Bhangra with western music to create a high energy and visually beautiful show. Hugely talented, these girls combine with ease, Bhangra/Bollywood dancing into Dhol drumming to create a spectacular show ideal for corporate events, weddings and a whole host of entertainment venues.
