El Loco is the UK’s only visual comedy, mime, and illusion show of its kind!
El Loco is an extraordinary and fast-paced performance that has been delighting audiences for over 30 years. With an impressive track record of more than 4,500 shows, El Loco has become a trusted and beloved act across a wide range of venues, including holiday parks, hotels, cruise ships, and theatres.
What sets El Loco apart is its completely non-verbal format. Without speaking a single word, the performer creates a rich, engaging experience through expressive mime, physical comedy, and clever illusion. This universal style allows audiences of all ages and backgrounds to connect instantly, making it ideal for family entertainment and international audiences alike.
The show features over 250 carefully selected snippets of nostalgic audio, spanning the past 100 years. These include iconic music tracks, memorable news headlines, famous sports commentaries, classic adverts, and recognisable voiceovers. Each clip is brought to life through perfectly timed interactions, with El Loco seamlessly responding to every sound, beat, and cue with precision and humour.
Blending sharp comedic timing with theatrical illusion and a touch of magic, the performance creates a whirlwind of visual storytelling that keeps audiences captivated from start to finish. The result is a unique, high-energy show filled with laughter, surprise, and nostalgia – an unforgettable journey through sound and silence that showcases the power of visual entertainment at its very best.
‘El Loco presents…Dr Loco & The Comedy Clinic of Chaos!’
Combining the best parts from my current show, Radio Loco, the new show will return El Loco’s style of performance back to a medical theme. The Comedy Clinic of Chaos is a high-energy performance, blending slapstick, explosive physical theatre, razor-sharp mime, prop driven gags and perfectly timed lip-sync routines, with over 250 tightly choreographed sound cues. Dr Loco communicates through malfunctioning medical props – stethoscopes that talk, a pulse checking radio, oversized thermometers, oxygen mask that breathes, magical medical examinations that go spectacularly wrong, along with an X-ray that will tickle your funny-bones!
