Cellist & Vocalist Mischa is a classically trained cellist and vocalist, working across a wide range of musical genres!
Cellist & Vocalist Mischa is based in South Wales and South England, she brings a rich, expressive sound shaped by both conservatoire training and diverse professional experience.
After studying at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Mischa has performed and recorded with a variety of ensembles and artists. These include contemporary classical groups such as Manchester Collective and The Flying Bedroom Quartet, as well as recording sessions with emerging local talents like Becky Winfield and Mattie Rowe, and internationally recognised artists such as Passenger.
Her work blends classical technique with a flair for improvisation, vocal harmony, and genre-crossing collaboration. She regularly performs as a soloist, in string ensembles, and in bespoke lineups tailored to events – from intimate acoustic sessions to large-scale stage productions. Her versatility has led to performances at renowned venues including Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club and The Barbican, as well as in West End productions such as 101 Dalmatians and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
