BOY GEORGE TRIBUTE ACT
This brilliant Boy George tribute act is a tribute to the British singer-songwriter ‘Boy George’, performing hits from Boy George and Culture Club. This brilliant impersonator first appeared on ‘Star In Their Eyes’ in 2000, where his talent was first showcased, performing as Ronan Keating.
This Boy George impersonator can perfectly imitate the vocal style of Boy George, along with the full transformation with wig and make-up.
In the 1980’s, Boy George was the lead singer of the Grammy and Brit Award winning pop band ‘Culture Club’, producing hits such as ‘Do You Really Want To Hurt Me’, ‘Time’, ‘I’ll Tumble 4 Ya’ and many more.
In the late 1980’s, after the dissolution of Culture Club, Boy George began his solo career and formed his own record label. From then on, he has produced more hits, such as ‘Everything I Own’, ‘Move Away’ and ‘When Will You Learn’.This brilliant show never fails to fill up the dance floor and certainly gets everyone in the full party swing. The show appeals to all ages; from those experiencing the 80s revival for the very first time to those who are ‘young’ enough to remember it the first time around. Paul was privileged to meet Boy George, Mikey Craig, Jon Moss and Roy Hay at a recent Culture Club concert at Haydock Races.

Boy George was extremely impressed with his look and even offered Paul invaluable tips and advice for perfecting his appearance.

Since then the show has gone from strength to strength and he has performed at many black-tie and prestigious events, including the Motcomb Street Party in Mayfair, London.
Paul also appeared on the BBC1, Saturday night entertainment show Even Better Than The Real Thing, hosted by Paddy McGuinness.
Paul was no stranger to the world of tribute before performing as Boy George, Paul’s talent was first showcased on the ITV show, Stars In Their Eyes, in 2000, when he appeared on the show twice, winning the second time around as Ronan Keating. Paul honed and perfected his Ronan Keating Tribute Show for over 14 years and was fortunate enough to meet and speak with Ronan several times throughout this period. Paul also appeared as Ronan Keating on a special tribute edition of ‘The Weakest Link’ in December 2011, where Anne Robinson asked him to sing live on the TV show.
