PHENOMENAL JAZZ/BIG BAND SINGER
Alexander Jazz vocalist is Manchester-born and based. He recently released his debut album, All Or Nothing to critical acclaim.
The stellar blend of original material, clever rearrangements of many famous standards, alongside great pop songs, became a sure-fire hit and has confirmed a place for Alexander in the very heart of the UK music scene.
Alexander has featured with the BBC Concert Orchestra and John Wilson Band. He has performed alongside Curtis Stigers and Buddy Greco on BBC Radio 2, hosted by Michael Parkinson. His TV credits include the Alan Titchmarsh show on ITV1.
More recently Alexander jazz vocalist opened shows for Grammy Award winners Dionne Warwick and Gladys Knight on their respective UK tours. Alexander has also made his Hong Kong debut, fronting the legendary Count Basie Orchestra.
His latest album, I Thought About You includes original songs which have had airplay by Dermot O’Leary and Clare Teal on BBC Radio 2, as well as Jazz FM and other national and regional UK radio stations.
