*What made you decide to become a tribute artiste/vocalist?
From a very young age I wanted to be on the stage. I was a bit of a rogue at school, so this kept me on the straight and narrow so to speak I guess having a bigger sister who did it too helped.
*Do you come from a musical family?
There seems to be no history of entertainment in my family what so ever.
*How long have you been performing your tribute act or act?
I have been performing these variety shows since 2005, which was the last theatre show I performed in.
*What work is involved in putting the show together?
Obviously experience is key here….listening to what clients want is essential. But also listening to different songs and learning them is quite time consuming too.
*Which of your shows to date has been your favourite and why?
My favourite show is the classic swing show. This seems to bring out the best in people, Even the very young.
*What is the most enjoyable thing about being as a tribute artiste/or vocalist?
Being on the road. Different town, different people. Like my singing act….’Variety’
*What is your fondest musical memory?
Singing solo in front of 2500 people at the London Palladium.
*What is your favourite song to perform?
Love performing Buble’s ‘Fever’
*Are you a fan of the tribute act/acts you cover?
Definitely! I love Bobby Darrin and Buble.
*Tell us something interesting about yourself?
I once went to hospital after eating fluorescent light bulb like a cream cracker.
*What advice would you give to beginners in this industry?
Stick at what you believe in. Don’t give up….keep on trucking. Don’t listen to the negatives in life. Be positive.

Brian May, The Krankies, Marti Webb, Shirley Bassey, John Barrowman to name but a few…
