The Electric Limelight Orchestra is an exciting contemporary orchestra performing cool, funky and current music for corporate events and large parties. Recent events include a performance by the 50 piece Orchestra at Nottingham Royal Concert Hall celebrating International Women’s Day on March 8th. A fantastic interpretation of songs from iconic female performers including Aretha Franklin, Beyonce, Diana Ross, Kylie Minogue and LIZZO.
In 2019 Limelight performed at major venues across the midlands with a show celebrating 50 years since the Apollo moon landing. Out of this world orchestrations of music and songs from David Bowie, Elton John. Coldplay, Kraftwerk, Public Service Broadcasting, Muse and so many more.
With so many talented musicians, the Electric Limelight Orchestra also has a range of chamber ensembles and small group formats, ranging from string quartets, brass ensembles to funky soul bands and other line ups.
