RONAN KEATING TRIBUTE ACT

This tribute act’s talent was first showcased on the ITV show, Stars In Their Eyes in 2000, when he appeared twice on the show; firstly in May 2000 as part of the normal heats and then again in Dec 2000, when he was invited back by Granada TV to appear on the Christmas Special, on which he was announced the show winner on Christmas Day.

This Ronan tribute act  has honed and perfected his show for the last 10 years. He doesn’t simply stand and entertain his audiences he brings them to their feet, interacting with them between every song and actually getting them up on stage to be involved. This interaction coupled with his vocal singing abilities is what sets his show apart from all the rest. His audiences always leave a night feeling fully ‘entertained’. Most recently in Jan 2009, Paul received a prank phone call from Ronan Keating himself, along with fellow band member, Stephen Gately.. who called him live during a Radio Clyde interview pretending to be a better Ronan Keating tribute than him and they had a sing off on the radio. Ronan paid his respect to him for demonstrating his vocal abilities. Similar to Ronan Keating, this tribute act’s mother died from cancer, so he has dedicated his talent to raising money for charity. In April 2009, he did a major concert with fellow tribute acts, ‘My Winehouse’, ‘Almost Pink’ and ‘Echoes of Eva Cassidy’, raising just under £2000 for Christies’ Cancer Hospital in Manchester.

Previous charity proceeds recipients from Paul’s work have included Derian House Childrens’ Hospice, Head First and Wigan Hospice.
