Rachael Goes Retro show pays tribute to the innovative sounds of Postmodern Jukebox and their unique retro soul, jazz and doowop covers of pop and rock songs. Imagine “Don’t Look Back In Anger” by Oasis, sung in a speakeasy jazz club, or “Halo” by Beyoncé sung in 60s Motown style and you have the nature of this fabulous show.
Featuring very fresh versions of classics like Creep, My Heart Will Go On, I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing, Running Up That Hill and more, audiences will love the different interpretations of their favourite songs. Accompanied by glamorous costumes and professional performer Rachael Roberts’s unique style and wit, this is a fun-filled, upbeat show that turns pop upside down with a flourish.
The show is best-presented with Rachael’s own four piece band but can also be performed with quality backing tracks. Ideally suited to any event or venue, sit back and enjoy going retro with this unique and memorable show.
Rachael is a fully-seasoned professional performer who has appeared in the West End, at various corporate events and theatres around the world, on cruise ships and on TV.
