MIKE DOYLE IS AN OUTSTANDING COMEDIAN, VOCALIST AND MUSICIAN
British Comedy Award winner; Comedy vocalist Mike Doyle, performs for around six months of the year on cruise lines such as P&O Cruises, Royal Caribbean International, Crystal Cruises and Cunard. The rest of the year is taken up working in the UK doing stand up, stage acting, after dinner speaking, voice over’s, a one man theatre show, playing the comic lead in pantomimes and he still finds the time to present his own weekly radio programme. Mike has also presented three of his own television series for the BBC.
Comedy vocalist Doyle made his debut television back in 1988, winning the BBC One talent show Opportunity Knocks.
Mike has performed in many pantomimes initially as principle lead and now as the hysterical Dame. He has appeared in numerous standup comedy shows including his very own televised series “The Mike Doyle Show” which aired on HTV (ITV Wales) in 2002.
Mike has worked for BBC Radio Wales, 106.3 Bridge FM, 102.1 Swansea Bay Radio, Radio Carmarthenshire and Radio Pembrokeshire. He’s currently the voice of the Trade Centre Wales radio adverts heard on most commercial stations across Wales where he is adored.
He appeared at the 1991 Royal Variety Performance.
Mike has also presented a televised gameshow called The Lyrics Game for the BBC back in 2004.
Mike Doyle is a very talented man. He has also appeared in West End shows including playing the Big Bopper in Buddy and playing Vince Fontaine in Grease. He released an album, Every Word, in 1999.
In 2010, Mike released a single entitled What Colour is the Wind? to help raise money for Cardiff Institute for the Blind.
