CELEBRATING THE MUSIC OF CHAS AND DAVE
Chas and Dave Tribute Act play all those Chas & Dave hits their fans know and love, but also enjoying playing classic and current pop songs to sing along too, but in that unique Rockney Style.
Following the sad news that the great Chas Hodges had passed away, Matt and Pete, both huge fans of Chas & Dave, decided they wanted to form a duo tribute act to celebrate the music of these two legendary musicians, so their music could live on.
Both Pete and Matt have many years of experience performing in bands from varied genres. Their main aim is to ensure, whoever the audience, everyone has a great time, when they play!
Pete is a hugely successful professional musician, arranger, pianist, keyboard player and musical director, with over 25 years’ experience in the music industry. He continues to play all over the world with some of the best loved artists, including Sheridan Smith, Rick Astley, Tony Hadley, Nik Kershaw, Kim Wilde, Mare Almond, Holly Johnson, Midge Ure, Jimmy Somerville and Belinda Carlisle to name but a few.
Matt has performed with a variety of bands over the past 30 years, from a 25-piece swing band to a 10-piece funk band. He has enjoyed arranging music events and playing in numerous bands, along side his 25-year career in Education.
Chas and Dave Tribute Act get the party going in a variety of venues including a residency in the West End at The Cellar Door, to pubs, social clubs and at private events, plus are in their element, playing at festivals, from local Tribute shows to Bestival and Glastonbury!
