HOW DO I BOOK ENTERTAINMENT FOR MY EVENT?

Bookings can either be made via email, or by telephone. It does help us if you have some idea of the entertainment you are interested in having perform at your event, whether it be a tribute band or solo tribute act, wedding band, singing waiters, motown group, close up magician, speciality act, comedy act, etc. We will also need to know the date, the location and your ideal budget.  If you are not sure, one of our entertainment consultants will be more than happy to discuss and/or send over some ideas to ensure that you are getting the best possible choice of entertainment available in the UK. Once you have chosen, and when the agreement is made, a contract and invoice will be issued for both entertainer/band and client (you).

WHAT ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE FOR PAYMENT?

Your contract will contain details of the payment arrangement. For any special arrangements, this can be discussed with a member of our team at the time of the booking. We usually ask for a 15% deposit which will remain in our client account until the booking has taken place. The balance can then be paid to the entertainer at the event or in advance of the the booking date via our client account - which ever is convenient for you. We accept payments via BACS and we offer this with no additional costs to you. The client account is a 0% interest business account, that we are legally obliged to maintain and audit yearly. All fees will remain in this account until after the booking has taken place.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CANCEL THE BOOKING?

Hopefully, you won't need to cancel however sometimes there are circumstances that are beyond your control and the booking may have to be postponed or cancelled. We just ask that you contact us as soon as possible, so we can liaise with the entertainer on your behalf to see if a different arrangement can be made. The more notice you give us the less difficulty we will have gaining a replacement booking for the entertainer. It is for the performer to decide if they wish the cancellation fee to be paid, however we shall seek to negotiate an agreement which suits both parties. For more detailed information please read our terms and conditions

WHAT IF THE ACT CANCELS?

This is where booking your entertainment via us comes in extremely useful. We are on call 365 days a year to cover all eventualities. In the rare event and for example if an entertainer's vehicle breaks down or due to illness, then please rest assured, we shall endeavour to provide you with a suitable alternative.

CAN I CONTACT THE ENTERTAINER PRIOR TO THE EVENT?

Of course! Sometimes, you may wish to speak to the performer/s to make last-minute arrangements such as arrival times and particular requirements, and this is absolutely fine. Speak to one of our team and we will be happy to put all parties in touch to discuss the finer details.

HOW MUCH SPACE DOES THE ACT NEED?

This varies from performer to performer. A solo vocalist would obviously require much less space than say a large tribute or function band, we will be able to advise you accordingly. We would also like to advise all our clients that all of our performers will need a private lockable room to store belongings and to change into stage costumes

DOES THE ENTERTAINER PROVIDE ALL SOUND AND LIGHTING?

Yes all of our performers are completely self contained, they all have PAT tested equipment and public liability. Certificates can be provided if required.

AND FINALLY .....

A cup of tea, coffee or soft drink and snack is always welcome but is not a requirement.
